Wear a mask <br>You must wear a mask at all times when entering or being in a public place (whether indoors or outdoors) (unless exempted under Chapter 599I). It is important to wear a mask correctly, including maintaining hand hygiene before and after putting on and taking off the mask.

Clean your hands frequently <br>Keep your hands clean often, especially before touching your mouth, nose or eyes; after touching public facilities such as handrails or door handles; or when your hands are contaminated by respiratory secretions, such as after coughing or sneezing.
Wash hands with liquid soap and water, rub for at least 20 seconds, rinse with water, and dry with a paper towel or clean towel. If handwashing facilities are unavailable, or if hands are not visibly soiled, using a 70% to 80% alcohol-based hand rub is an effective alternative.

Maintain social distance <br>The government strongly urges citizens to protect themselves and others by reducing social contact: Maintain social distance, maintaining at least one meter between yourself and others. Reduce gatherings and travel outside your home. Reduce dining together and use serving chopsticks and soup bowls when dining. Avoid crowded places.

Seek medical attention early <br>If you feel unwell (even if the symptoms are very mild), you should consult a doctor as soon as possible. The Department of Health provides free COVID-19 testing services to private doctors. General outpatient clinics will continue to assist in distributing specimen collection kits without the need for a doctor's appointment.

Caring for the Elderly <br>The Government strongly urges the elderly to stay at home as much as possible, avoid going out, and consider asking relatives and friends to help with daily necessities such as shopping.

Keep a diary <br>Keep a diary to record your daily schedule, such as writing down the license plate number of the taxi you take, to assist in contact tracing.
- Get tested together <br>Participate in the universal community testing program to identify asymptomatic patients with COVID-19 in the community as early as possible, achieve "early identification, early isolation, early treatment", and cut off the chain of transmission in the community.
